We've returned from a fantastic trip in the Basque region
of Spain and up the west coast of France, checking out cideries.
Apart from great food, great oysters and great cheeses, we picked up
some very interesting traditional regional approaches to making
cider, some of which is now reflected in our range of vintage
ciders, with the inclusion of our Demi-sec
2014 Crucible Cider (9% alcohol) $25/750
ml bottle SOLD OUT
2015 Crucible (10% alcohol) 375ml bottle
/ $12.50 ex cellar door.
2016 Perry (10% alcohol pear cider)
limited release 375ml bottle / $12.50 ex cellar door
Note: We were very proud to have been
awarded a Bronze medal in the National Australian Cider Awards for
our 2013 Cider,
followed by a Silver medal for the 2014 Crucible in the traditional bottle fermented category
against some pretty stiff competition.
Our 2015 Crucible Cider was awarded a Silver
medal in October 2016.
The 2016 vintage has been entered into the 2017
Awards program, along with our new 2016 Demi-Sec Cider. Note:
At the Cellar door only, we'll be tasting a batch of Black Cider - think
a stout style for cider - at our Season Opening event on November
Please enjoy Crucible Cider - Wassail!
